UDI
Udi Fagundes is a Brazilian singer, composer, and guitarist based in Portugal, whose music blends Brazilian and African influences. He began his career with the reggae band Rastamen and later founded UDI e A GERAL, which gained him international recognition. In 2023, Udi released "Petit Pays", a reinterpretation of the song made famous by Cesária Évora, which is the result of his musical research since moving to Portugal during the pandemic. The single fuses samba and milonga with Afro-Latin elements and is part of an upcoming EP featuring music from the PALOP community. Udi has collaborated with major Brazilian artists, including Gabriel O Pensador, and continues to explore global rhythms in his work. His previous releases include the album Cabeça de GPS (2012) and the single "Poder Poder" (2022), which also highlight his interest in cross-cultural musical fusion
